Police HC have confirmed the signings of Zimbabwean right-back Peter Taurai and Cameroonian goalkeeper Frank Ghislain Suh Soh on two-year contracts as the Rwandan side strengthens its squad for new season.
Taurai, who stands 1.85 metres tall, captains Zimbabwe’s men’s national handball team. He previously played for Manyame Falcons in Zimbabwe and Cape Stars in South Africa before moving to Rwanda.
His international experience is expected to bolster Police HC’s backcourt options as the club seeks to improve its competitiveness.

Suh Soh, 22, joins from Cameroon’s Forces Armée et de Police (FAP) Handball Club, adding depth to the goalkeeping department as Police HC prepare for the coming campaigns.
The signings reflect the club’s efforts to reinforce key positions with international talent, with Taurai bringing experience to the backcourt and Suh Soh providing another option between the posts.
Both players had reportedly sought contracts worth $5,000, although it remains unclear whether the figure referred to annual salaries, signing fees or their total contractual demands. Police HC have not disclosed the final financial terms.
Having already secured two victories under the new handball championship format, Police will hope the new arrivals settle quickly and help maintain the team’s strong start to the season.
