Kigali will host the 2026 Professional Fighters League (PFL) Africa finals on December 12 at BK Arena, the organisation has confirmed on its social media platforms.

The event will mark the second time PFL Africa has staged a major event in the Rwandan capital, following the semifinals held in October 2025. Kigali will also become the first city to host more than one PFL Africa event.

The finals will feature three championship bouts across the welterweight, lightweight and bantamweight divisions, with each winner set to pocket $100,000 (approximately Rwf147 million).

The finalists secured their places following the PFL Africa semifinals held in Morocco on October 10, where six fighters booked spots in the championship bouts.

In the welterweight division, Shido Boris Esperança will face David Samuel for the title, while Patrick Ocheme takes on Demba Seck in the lightweight final.

The bantamweight championship will pit Raphael Uchegbu against Dwight Joseph, with both fighters seeking to be crowned champions in their respective divisions.

The December 12 event is expected to bring together some of Africa’s leading mixed martial arts fighters as PFL continues to expand its footprint across the continent.
