The opener boosted Mukura’s confidence as they controlled much of the first half, heading into the break with a narrow lead.
Amagaju returned from the interval determined to turn the game around and found an equaliser in the 54th minute through Rodriguez Mwinyi.
The forward reacted quickest inside the penalty area to beat the goalkeeper and bring the hosts back on level terms.

At Ubworoherane Stadium, Gasogi United registered their first victory of the season with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Musanze FC.
The visitors remained compact and disciplined throughout the encounter before Abdu Nizeyimana broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute.
His strike proved decisive as Gasogi held firm defensively to protect their advantage until the final whistle, earning a much-needed boost to their campaign.
Meanwhile, Sunrise FC made home advantage count with a narrow 1-0 victory over Police FC at Nyagatare Stadium.
With the contest seemingly heading for a draw, veteran midfielder Djuma Ntibanzonkiza stepped up in the 75th minute to score the decisive goal.
His late strike secured maximum points for Sunrise and dealt Police FC another disappointing away result.
