RSSB Tigers will face NBA G League United in the semi-finals of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup on Saturday, September 26.

NBA G League United secured top spot in Group B after beating Argentina’s Boca Juniors 79-74 in their final group-stage game, setting up a meeting with the Tigers, who finished second in Group A.

The Tigers booked their place in the knockout stage after staging a dramatic 19-point comeback to beat Shanghai Sharks 117-115 in overtime on Wednesday.

The victory saw the reigning Basketball Africa League champions advance as one of the two group runners-up.

The other semi-final will pit Group A winners Rytas Vilnius against Boca Juniors.

The Tigers will now look to build on their comeback victory as they continue their campaign against some of the world’s top club sides.
