Police FC will face SC Kiyovu in the 2026 FERWAFA Super Cup final after both teams won their respective semi-final matches on Thursday at Kigali Pele Stadium.

Kiyovu edged Mukura 1-0 to book a place in the finals, while Police secured their place after defeating Rayon Sports 4-2 on penalties following a goalless draw in regulation time.

During the Police FC Vs Rayon Sports game, the law enforcers created the better chances in the first half, but Rayon Sports goalkeeper Dande Junior was in outstanding form, producing fine saves in the first half, denying key goal scoring opportunities to Luc Bide and Leonard Gakwaya.

Rayon also threatened, with their best opportunity falling to Tony Kitoga, whose effort was brilliantly saved by Police’s goalkeeper Patience Niyongira.

In the second half, both sides continued pushing for a breakthrough. Rayon’s Junior Kameni missed a late chance, while Bide was unable to convert an opportunity for Police as the match ended 0-0 after 90 minutes.

In the shootout, Police converted three penalties while Rayon scored two.

Police and Kiyovu will now tussle it out in the finals.
