Mukura Victory Sports have completed the signing of Ugandan midfielder Hussein Ssenoga on a two-year contract from Uganda Premier League side Kitara FC.
The Huye-based club is stepping up preparations for a busy 2026/27 season, which will see them compete in several competitions, starting with the 2026 Turbo King Super Cup.
Ssenoga, 28, is the latest addition to Mukura’s squad as the club looks to strengthen key areas ahead of the new campaign.
The former Express FC and Lugazi FC midfielder made his first appearance for Mukura during a pre-season friendly against Bugesera FC on Saturday.
Known for his work rate, tactical discipline and experience, Ssenoga is expected to add stability and depth to Mukura’s midfield.
His arrival comes shortly after the appointment of Serbian coach Momcilo Medic, who has been tasked with building a competitive Mukura side capable of challenging for trophies.
The club has also made several other additions, signing Leandre Ndagijimana from Gasogi United, Telesphore Niyonizeye and Abumuremyi from AS Muhanga, Freedom Mungudit from Lugazi FC, Olivier Dusabimana from Unity FC and Sadjati Niyonkuru from Etincelles FC.
Mukura have also retained key players Justin Irumva and Agyenim Boateng Mensah, while promoting promising youngsters Kennedy Tuyishime, Ashirafu Ndagijimana and Jean Pierre Ishimwe from the club’s youth setup.
