Rwandan striker Sandrine Mutuyimana has completed a move to Tanzanian top-flight side Yanga Princess SC, signing a three-year contract that will keep her at the club until 2029.

The Dar es Salaam-based club unveiled Mutuyimana alongside several other new signings on Friday, August 21, as they step up preparations for the new season.

Mutuyimana joins Yanga Princess from Inyemera WFC, where she established herself as one of the most prolific strikers in Rwanda’s women’s top division.

She first made a name for herself in school competitions before progressing through the ranks and earning recognition as a key player for both club and country.

Yanga Princess also unveiled Sumaya Komuntale, Semeni Juma, Fatuma Aron, Winfrida Charles, Rehema Ramadhani, Saada Mabere and Rhobi Daudi as part of their squad rebuild.

Mutuyimana is expected to help fill the void left by fellow Rwandan international Jeannine Mukandayisenga, who recently left Yanga Princess for Chinese Women’s Super League side Wuhan Jiangda.

Mukandayisenga spent two seasons with Yanga Princess and finished as the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League’s top scorer in both campaigns, averaging 20 goals a season.
