Rwandan midfielder Bonheur Mugisha has completed a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hazem FC, marking a new chapter in his career.

The 26-year-old joins Al-Hazem after an impressive season with Egyptian Premier League club Al Masry, where he made 32 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

The transfer also reunites Mugisha with Tunisian coach Jalel Kadri, the former Tunisia national team manager, who is well acquainted with the midfielder's qualities from their time in North African football.

Kadri is expected to rely on Mugisha's experience, versatility and physical presence as Al-Hazem prepare for the new Saudi Pro League season.

Mugisha joins a league that has rapidly emerged as one of the world's most high-profile football competitions. In recent years, the Saudi Pro League has attracted global stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr), Sadio Mané (Al-Nassr) and N'Golo Kanté (Al-Ittihad), significantly raising its international profile.
