Tanzanian sides Singida Black Stars and Simba SC meet at Amahoro Stadium on Friday, July 31, in a decisive Group B match at the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, with a place in the semifinals at stake.
Singida recovered from a slow start after losing 2-0 to South Sudan's Jamus SC in their opening match. They bounced back with a 4-1 win over Mogadishu City Club to keep their qualification hopes alive.
A victory over Simba would strengthen Singida's chances of reaching the last four.
Simba, meanwhile, head into the match without a win after drawing with Jamus SC and Mogadishu City Club. Another slip could end their campaign.
The other Group B fixture will see leaders Jamus SC take on Mogadishu City Club. Jamus, led by Rwandan international Kevin Muhire, are well placed to secure a semifinal spot.
Results from both matches will determine the final Group B standings and the teams that progress to the knockout stage.
