APR FC have confirmed the loan departures of midfielder Ramadhan Niyibizi and goalkeeper Pierre Ishimwe to Marines FC.

The decision comes after the club assessed that Ramadhan Niyibizi, who has one year remaining on his contract, would face limited playing opportunities at APR FC.

Seeking regular first-team football, the Rwandan midfielder and the club agreed that a temporary move would be the best option for his development.

Despite attracting interest from Kiyovu Sports and AS Kigali, Niyibizi ultimately joined Marines FC on loan and has already started training with his new teammates.

Also heading to Marines FC is shot stopper Ishimwe, whose contract was recently extended by APR FC.

Although the club remains confident in the goalkeeper’s long-term future, the current depth in club’s goalkeeping department meant he was unlikely to see significant playing time this season.

As a result, APR FC opted to send Ishimwe on loan to allow him to regain match fitness, sharpen his skills, and enjoy regular competitive action after an extended period on the sidelines.
