East African music takes centre stage at Tunataka Ku Enjoy this weekend as artistes from Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania gather for the two-day festival at Mundi Center on July 25 and 26.
Organised by Hottempah Collective, the festival has become a regular fixture on Kigali&039;s entertainment calendar, bringing together live music, DJs, food vendors and lifestyle experiences.
The third edition features Ugandan singer Azawi, Burundian act Kirikou Akili, Tanzania's DJ Mkuzi, Kenya's Mista C, and Rwanda's Christopher, Nel Ngabo, Mike Kayihura, Ish Kevin, Davis D, Angell Mutoni, DJ Lamper and Starving Yet Full.

Festival organisers said this year's programme was designed to showcase the diversity of East Africa's music scene while creating space for audiences to discover artistes from neighbouring countries.
Tickets are priced at Rwf12,500 for a regular day pass, Rwf20,000 for a regular weekend pass, Rwf25,000 for a VIP day pass and Rwf40,000 for a VIP weekend pass.
The festival will feature three stages inspired by Virunga’s beer offerings: Silver, Gold and Mist.

The Silver Stage, open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., focuses on food, shopping and social activities. Visitors can browse fashion and lifestyle pop-up stalls, sample dishes from local food vendors, enjoy desserts and ice cream, or take part in outdoor games before the concerts begin.
From 7 p.m. to midnight, attention shifts to the Gold Stage, where the festival's headline performances take place. This is the main concert area, featuring live performances from the festival's biggest names.
The night concludes at the Mist Stage, Depot 37, running from midnight to 2 a.m.
The programme centres on dance music, including Afro house, a style of electronic dance music that blends African rhythms with house music; Amapiano, the South African genre known for deep basslines and piano melodies; and 3-Step, a newer South African electronic sound built around slower rhythms and layered percussion.
Friday's lineup features Nel Ngabo, Ish Kevin, Zagazzillion, Kirikou Akili, Mista C, Vega Drift, Nyata, DJ Muun, DJ Alida, DJ Lamper and Starving Yet Full.
Saturday's performances include Christopher, Mike Kayihura, Azawi, DJ Mkuzi, Davis D, Angell Mutoni, Vega Drift, DJ Fistom, Hottempah and DJ June.
