Patriots guard Franklin Damaria scored 25 points to inspire Patriots Basketball Club to a commanding 84-65 victory over Rwanda Energy Group (REG) in the Rwanda Basketball League on Sunday.

Coached by Sunny Niyomugabo, Patriots edged the opening quarter 21-18 before extending their advantage with a 20-16 second-quarter win to take a 41-34 lead into halftime.

The league leaders maintained their dominance after the break, claiming the third quarter 24-15 before sealing the contest with a 19-16 fourth-quarter performance.
