East Africa’s Mhando to perform

Halleluiah! Born again Christians prepare yourselves for an extraordinary gospel concert. The exciting news is that, Rose Mhando, East Africa’s most popular Gospel artist is set to perform today (Sunday), at Petit Stade, where she will be singing songs of Hope to heal broken hearts.

However, our scouts have discovered that the famous gospel singer strated out originally a Moslem, but converted to Christianity after having seen an apparition of "Jesus Christ” while ailing on her sick bed many years ago.

Famous for her solo album "Uwe Macho” (Beware), the 32 year old composer, singer and dancer will be performing for the first time in Rwanda, and is also set to tour the country…to spread the word of God.

False prophet now in rehab

Wonders will never stop to happen. Latest on our grapevine is that of a false prophet of the impending doom’s day, who is now in a rehabilitation center at Ndera mental hospital.

Recently, a man, whose name has not yet been disclosed, prophesied on one of our local radio stations that December 20th 2008 would mark the end of the world.

At the end of his ‘prophesy’, the man urged people to repent  and further implored them to eat  whatever they could, saying there was no need of leaving anything behind.

"You must repent because the Son of God is coming soon to take His fellows. And those who’re not prepared, will be welcomed into the fires of Hell,” he warned in a live broadcast over radio.

Scouts have it that police immediately intervened to interrogate him about his ‘prophesy’, but he denied everything. It is further alluded that he was suspected to be mentally ill and was rushed to a mental hospital.

The matter is complicated, because the Bible states that no  one knows about the coming of Jesus Christ. The bible states that He will come like a thief in the night. But the same Bible also warns that prior to His coming, there will be false prophets, spreading falsehoods about his second coming.
