Four teams will be approved as new members of the national volleyball fraternity during the body’s general assembly on Saturday.
The general assembly will be held at Hilltop hotel, starting at 9:30am.
The four teams to be welcomed in the league include; Nyamasheke S.S, Kamonyi S.S and Rwaza S.S – all in the women’s league – as well as UR-CoE in the men’s league.
According to Christian Hatumimana, Executive Secretary of the local volleyball governing body, the four newly created teams wrote to the federation asking to join the league, and their requests will be discussed by the general assembly.
Should they all be approved, UR-CoE will start in the second division league, while the women teams will go straight into the topflight league.
