Rayon Sports head coach Janvier Martinez wants his side to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they host Bugesera at Kigali Stadium in Nyamirambo today, kicking off 18:00.

Espinosa’s side haven’t lost in three matches, winning two and drawing one, and are in third place with seven points.

APR will play against their sister side, Marines, at Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu District.

Espinosa revealed, “We have a football situation of working hard and looking for the goals but I also believe the atmosphere in the stadium has been key to winning games.”

He also hailed the players, saying that he was happy with the way they have handled the last couple of games.

Espinosa was quick to point out that the support the players get from their loyal fans has been crucial to the impressive run.

However, Bugesera will be looking for a second win of the season after collecting one win, draw and loss in the last three games of the season.

“We need to win. I know to beat Rayon Sports will be an uphill task for us but it is possible; we shall give it our best,” said Bugesera coach Justin Bisengimana.

Meanwhile, former champions APR FC will also be looking to maintain their good start when they visit Marines this afternoon.

“I’m really happy with the way we played the previous games but we will improve starting today and we have prepared well for the Marines encounter,” Moroccan Adil Mohammed Erradi ahead of Marines’ clash.

Action continues on Wednesday AS Kigali play against Etincelles, also at Umuganda Stadium.

Meanwhile, in other matches played on Sunday, Heroes FC won first league game against AS Muhanga 2-1, Musanze FC played a 1-1 draw against SC Kiyovu, Gicumbi lost 1-3 to Mukura VS while Sunrise thrashed Espoir 4-1.
