The head coach of Police FC and his assistant Justin Bisengimana, have resigned from the club after a run of poor results.
Seninga’s resignation marks the end of his relationship with the cops’ side which has lasted three years.
Rwanda National Police wrote on twitter; “Police FC head coach and his deputy have tendered in their resignations citing failure to achieve the targeted goal. RNP leadership has accepted the resignations. In light with the foregoing, the team's leadership has begun looking for replacements of the tacticians”.
Seninga replaced Andre Casa Mbungo on a two-year contract from Etincelles and last year, Police FC extended the contract by three years and was supposed to run up to 2020.
He was tasked to win at least one trophy last season but failed after finishing second in the Azam Rwanda Premier League and were eliminated by Rayon Sports in the quarter-finals of Peace Cup.
On the league table, they are currently in eighth place with 22 points after 17 games.
In his first season, Seninga did not win any silverware but last year, his bosses were impressed with what they saw and handed him another three year contract, worth a reported Rwf72 million, to prove himself.
