Rwanda international Clementine Mukandanga has embarked on her final preparations as she gears up to represent Rwanda at the upcoming 17th World Athletics Championships. The 2019 world championships is slated for September 26 through October 6 in Doha, Qatar. Mukandanga secured her ticket to the world’s biggest athletics meet last November following her impressive performance in women’s full marathon at the Firenze Marathon, in Italy. “I am working hard in training, and so far so good in camp. I want to put up a strong performance in Doha,” she said. She qualified alongside compatriot Felicien Muhitira, who will be competing in men’s full marathon.
