It will be a clash of egos between two of the country’s finest volleyball clubs when two-time champions Gisagara host archrivals UTB in the national league on Saturday afternoon.

The game gets underway at 3pm, at Gisagara Gymnasium.

There will be a lot at stake for both sides as Gisagara look to stay tightly close to leaders Rwanda Energy Group (REG) for the top spot while Fidele Nyirimana’s UTB will be avoiding a third defeat this season.

Ahead of the highly anticipated encounter, second-placed Gisagara have 13 points from six games, one ahead of third-placed UTB who are bidding for their historic first league title.

REG, who face bottom side Kirehe later in the day at Amahoro Stadium, top the table with 15 points.

In another game, IPRC-Ngoma host former champions APR in the first game of the weekend in Ngoma District. Kick-off 11am.
