Many children are excited to have been promoted to a higher class and are eagerly waiting to start school.
It is very exciting to be promoted to another class and very sad to be made to repeat a class.
Those that were promoted, worked for it by being attentive in class, doing their homework, being disciplined and revising their books.
If you were lucky enough to get promoted, you should even work harder this time round.
Most children tend to relax when promoted but one shouldn’t, because if they do, they will be left behind.
This new year and term, children should double their effort and work towards being the very best in class.
Most times, when one joins a higher class, the work might become a little harder compared to that in the previous class.
However, when one revises their books, asks where they have not understood and does homework, then the work becomes easy.
Relaxing, being disobedient to teachers and parents, making noise in class and not revising can only make children repeat a class.
You should work towards being the best in your class and being promoted to another higher class.
Remember, work without play makes Jack a dull boy. So when you are done with all your class work and revising, you should spend some time playing.
