Success; we have heard it again and again but wait, did you ever sit down to think about it?
Joe Knapp once said that success is living up to your potential. Let’s all wake up with a smile and go after life…live it, enjoy it, taste it, smell and feel it.
As an individual, what perspective do you have about success? Many people will describe it by what they have achieved or what they were encouraged with on the journey to their goal.
Take an example; William Award said that the recipe for success is to study while others are sleeping, work while others are loafing, prepare while others are wishing.
What he tried to mean was that to achieve success, you have to go an extra mile for there is a saying that “Extra ordinary people do ordinary things extra ordinary well.”
When you think you have almost reached your goal of success be humbled always and identify with a common man, even when success and achievements want to make us proud.
For those people who help us discover our goals in life or take the stand to travel on this journey with us, you should remember that when you believe the best in people, you help to bring the best out of them. Our success solemnly depends on what they tell us.
I have heard quite a number of people say that they can’t make it in life. Why is it so? Who told you there was something wrong with you? Your destiny is not determined by your antics and there is the trick; do not spend time trying to win over your antics, just run your own race.
Remember that our words set the direction for our lives. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your own life. When you say you are a failure you will be one, you have to start making positive declaratives over your own life.
I know the dream in your heart may be bigger than the environment in which you find yourself but believe me, when you set your heart into something, you will not be disappointed.
Also, remember that nothing that you have done is too much for the mercy of God.
For sure if you have the aim of pursuing your dream, don’t give it another thought. It takes hard work, discipline and endurance to succeed.
Lastly, you have got to persevere and endure in every situation. Through perseverance, the snail reached the ark and survived the flood. Above all, remember that successful people are not superhuman. There is no magic about success; it does not require super intellect to succeed.
You should always believe big. The size of your belief determines the size of your success. When you think small goals you should expect little achievement and vice versa.
