‘Shem’s Idle Notes’ It is very difficult to find a conclusive answer to "best” smart phone devices, because the comparison is not limited to the specifications and capabilities and also the tastes and preferences of its users. For purposes of not offending people, I shall not number this particular list, but as you read through, you should be getting the trend of which is the best of the best. And don’t get offended if your phone didn’t make it on this list. Like I said, there are many factors to consider.

For purposes of not offending people, I shall not number this particular list, but as you read through, you should be getting the trend of which is the best of the best. DELL VENUE PRO:

Specification: Operating system Windows Phone,  CPU Qualcomm QSD8250 1GHz Scorpion (Snapdragon) Memory 512 MB RAM Storage 1024 MB ROM. Display 4.1-inch (diagonal) widescreen
480-by-800 WVGA AMOLED.
The Dell Venue Pro, codename Lightning, is a mobile smartphone running the Windows Phone operating system.  This phone is running with Windows Phone 7, with 4.1-inch screen that work with quality of 800 × 480 and provided with AMOLED Gorilla Glass and Snapdragon processor 1 GHz. It contains 5 megapixel camera. Th
e phone has also a sliding keyboard, but the main disadvantage of it is its large size, its length is 122 mm and width 63 mm while the thickness of it 15 mm and weighs 192.8 grams

SAMSUNG OMNIA

The Samsung Omnia W (also known as the Samsung Focus Flash and GT-8350) is a slate device running Windows Phone operating system 7.5.[1] The phone is manufactured by Samsung. The device features Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 SoC clocked at 1.4 GHz, 3, 7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 480x800 and 8GB capacity of internal storage.


HTC EVO 3D:

The HTC Evo 3D is an Android 2.3 ("Gingerbread") smartphone that allows for the creation and viewing of 3D content through the use of two 5 MP rear-facing cameras and a glasses-free 3D-capable 4.3" qHD touch screen


MOTOROLA DROID BIONIC:

The Motorola Droid Bionic is an Android-based, 4G LTE-capable smartphone designed by Motorola. This phone very elegant design and 4.3-inch screen, and has a 8 megapixel camera capable of recording high-quality 720p video

BLACKBERRY 9360


Specifications: BlackBerry OS 7; 2.4-inch display; 800MHz processor; 512 MB internal storage, Plus: Bright display, Minus: 1000 mAh battery

The BlackBerry Curve 9350 Series are mid-range smartphones developed by Research in Motion and announced in August 2011 and released September 2011. The Curve 9350 series has a slimmer, lighter-weight design with improved technical specifications than the Curve 9300 series and also runs BlackBerry OS 7. The 9370 is a CDMA/GSM World Edition. The 9360 is a 3G GSM variant and the 9350 is a CDMA variant.


HTC THUNDERBOLT:

This phone is a very elegant design and high-speed Internet, and has a 4,3 inch screen WVGA with 800 × 600 quality, 8 megapixel camera with video recording capability on the high quality 720p, and 1.3 megapixel front camera.

As for the operating system, it works with Android system 2.2 with HTC Sense, QUALCOMM MSM8655 Snapdragon processor 1 GHz
Its length is 121 mm, and width 66 mm, while the thickness of 12.7 mm and weighs 181 grams, and perhaps the weight and size of this one of the most disturbing things in this phone

SONY ERICSSON XPERIA ARC

The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc (Xperia X12) is an Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson. It was launched on April 1st, 2011 in Europe. The Xperia arc has a 4.2-inch (110 mm) touch-screen, the mobile BRAVIA engine which optimises the picture and runs at a resolution of 854×480 pixels, a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an 8.1 mega-pixel camera, HDMI-out, 512 MB of RAM, and a 8 GB microSD card is included (expandable up to 32 GB).


APPLE i PHONE 4S


The iPhone 4S is a touchscreen slate smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is the fifth generation of the iPhone, a device that combines a widescreen iPod with a touchscreen, mobile phone, and internet communicator. It retains the exterior design of its predecessor, iPhone 4, but is host to a range of improved hardware specifications and software updates compared to the previous model. Integrated software and hardware changes support the introduction of new user interface and functions by Apple. Highlights include a voice recognizing and talking assistant called Siri, personal computer independence, cloud-sourced data (iCloud) and an improved camera system. A selection of the device's functions can be controlled by voice


LG OPTIMUS 2X

The LG Optimus 2X is a smartphone designed and manufactured by LG Electronics. The Optimus 2X is the world's first smartphone with a dual-core processor and third phone in the LG Optimus-Android series. LG debuted the Optimus 2X on December 16, 2010 and the device first became available to consumers in South Korea in January 2011. It was also launched in Singapore on March 3, 2011. The Optimus 2X runs the Android 2.3 software stack since an upgrade that rolled out November 2011

SAMSUNG GALAXY S II

The Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-I9100) is a smartphone running under the Android operating system that was announced by Samsung on February 13, 2011 at the Mobile World Congress. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S, with a different appearance and significantly improved hardware. The Galaxy S II was one of the slimmest smartphones of the time, mostly 8.49 mm thin, except for two small bulges which take the total thickness of the phone to 9.91 mm.
The Galaxy S II has a 1.2 GHz dual-core "Exynos" system on a chip (SoC) processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 10.8 cm (4.3 in) WVGA Super AMOLED Plus screen display and an 8 megapixel camera with flash and full 1080p high definition video recording. It is one of the first devices to offer a Mobile High-definition Link (MHL), which allows up to 1080p uncompressed video output with HDMI while charging the device at the same time. USB On-The-Go (USB OTG) is supported.
