Chris Martin is and English singer-songwriter, and the lead vocalist, pianist and rhythm guitarist of the band Coldplay. Martin was born in England on 2 March 1977 the eldest of five children. He formed his first band “The Rocking Honkies” in his preparatory school, along with two friends. Their debut performance was met by boos from the crowd, though.
