I love movies, in fact I like a broad array of that make an artistic statement, give interesting and complex material to think about, and that put forward deeply daily or spiritual views on our beliefs.
And Passion of the Christ is one of those movies that are it’s worth watching.
The movie is appealing from the start, although it’s full of the painful scenes.
However the movie impacted my life, it stirred my mind to think more about Jesus and I think its life changing.
This movie has proven to inflict an emotional wallop, particularly among teens.
After seeing how Jesus suffered, people want to know Him more and become more committed followers of the Savior.
After watching the movie, ask your self these questions;
What bothered you the most? Why did it bother you?
Why do you think this scene or scenes affected you?
Do you see Jesus differently than you did before watching the movie?
Have you read the Gospel accounts of the passion of Jesus to see how the movie compares to the Bible?
If so, what do you think the movie captures well from Scripture? How would you describe the differences between the movie and the Gospels?
How did your friends respond to the movie? What are they saying about it?
