International footballers make a difference

Believe it or not international players make a difference, when it comes to soccer. Be realistic for once, look beyond this whole patriotism fracas, international talent is what any country would need to prosper, sport wise.

In any case, what kind of patriotism would surpass a famous footballer’s commitment to represent their home countries?

With other factors constant, this is why countries should rely on international footballers.

With soccer, the name makes a difference. Be it the turn up or team success, international names matter. For sure international football stars like Didier Drogba, Sammuel ETO, made a huge fundraising for the one dollar campaign.

Football is a game where success matters, taking chances isn’t an option. Local players’ practice and commitment isn’t enough. On the contrary, international players are more experienced, have played at different pitches and are more confident.

The chances of winning with international players on a team are certainly higher than winning with our own local wannabes.

And truly, commitment comes with satisfaction. International footballers are rich, in fact some are ready to give to charity; this makes them more focused when it comes to their talent.

Meanwhile, our home players and teams still lack, a reason as to stick to the game besides to worry about a future without playing the game, right ahead of them.

Give local footballers room to build their talent; after all international ones are seeking constructive ways to spend free time, inviting them for country games would be highly appreciated.

Who says international footballers cease to belong to a country when they become famous and rich? These stars just got lucky to work with big teams, why should they be hindered from doing their country teams proud?

Countries should learn to utilize international stars of their origin. Make them soccer consultants, coaches or even Sports Ministers.

Not identifying with them will only deny teams of talent that would otherwise propel the already dulling local teams and stars to competitive international standards.

And yes, international stars are such an inspiration, when it comes to future talent. Brazil is still a soccer statement because of the international star influence. We do not need a second thought on this, international stars make the difference.
