Teens need to get active. Forget the old boring swag of chilling on the sofa like a couch potato that has no future. There are several things that are fun and exciting to do in this huge jungle of a globe. These are the positive and exciting learning activities that help teens to enjoy life and find relaxation from the daily drill of school work.

Learn new activities that range from sports, indoor games, music and crafts. Every person should identify an activity that makes them happy. Each activity should be exciting, educational, safe and unique.

Get active during your free time and you will surely be one happy chap. Participating in different school activities, is not a waste of time; these activities will help you discover hidden talent and relax your minds.

Besides, through these after school activities students meet and make new friends, help to develop each other’s talent and also get the opportunity to travel places.

This week schools in Rwanda have opened and students, pupils and parents have a lot to expect from the 2011 academic year. What do you have to offer as a student? That’s a question that only you can answer. However, anything reading, ‘poor’, ‘bad grades’, ‘suspension’ or ‘indiscipline’ should not be part of this package.

Talent is developed and so are discipline and academic grades. Never sit back and wait to be told what to do. Develop your talent in whatever field you love so that when you are all grown up, you have something to depend on.

The time is now and not tomorrow.
