Children representatives from every sector of the country will meet today at Kigali Serena hotel the 6th National Children Summit.
The annual event has also attracted children from the East African member states with the theme “The role of children in education fit for them.”
The event is organized by the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion (MIGEPROF) and other stakeholders, the children will meet and have the chance to discuss with their leaders on what is fit for them regarding education.
The Information and Communications Official at MIGEPROF, Grace Ruzibiza, said that the event will be attended by 416 children from across the country.
“Children with disabilities will be represented by five participants and two participants will represent children in refugee camps,” Ruzibiza said.
