Rachel’s Ramblings : Sometimes playing hard to get means she wants to know if your feelings are real

Guys usually get the wrong idea of why women tend to take longer than necessary in accepting their advances. The first thing guys need to understand is that we are all different. Just because your last girlfriend fell for and accepted you in record time doesn’t mean every other woman moves at that pace. Guys always have a hard time saying those three little words that every woman in love would just die to hear. But strangely enough, when you are still a conquest, he will say them so often you’d think they were the only words he knew. The second you get together the words vanish faster than a speeding bullet. It’s quite annoying if you ask me. You can’t blame chicks for taking their time wondering how long those sweet words will last. Sadly enough, they usually don’t! Guys who obviously want to make the fling as short as possible will quickly give up and probably move on to your best friend. After all, no woman is worth the trouble! Why spend days and days trying to get a girl who keeps blowing you off? There’s nothing wrong with playing a little hard to get. I mean this is her heart and life you are probably planning on playing with. If she wants to see whether you will hang in there even while acting like she couldn’t be bothered then she has every right. I hear some people say that playing hard to get could cost you a good man. Well obviously he wasn’t that great if he didn’t fight for you and gave up on you the first chance he got. Nothing sounds better in a woman’s ear than a guy who says he will wait for her even if he has to wait forever! Gentlemen, try to say things you actually mean. If it’s a fling you are looking for, look for the ladies who are after the same thing. Trust me, they are not that hard to find! Just don’t go claiming your undying love for a chick you have no intention of pursuing a relationship with. Playing hard to get could also mean she honestly isn’t interested so try to look out for signs; for example, if she always seems to be busy when you ask her out. That means she clearly doesn’t want to see you. However, a chick who likes you, though she may take ages to accept what you have to offer, will want to see you occasionally.If she can’t be caught dead speaking to you alone without the company of a friend then chill her. You probably give her the creeps but she’s not sure how to tell you that without hurting your feelings. Yes, we do worry about hurting your feelings sometimes. So even if she keeps dodging the part where the two of you should be a couple it doesn’t have to mean that she isn’t interested. If she has the slightest interest, her face will light up when you are with her. She likes you but is not sure if you mean what you say and some women can’t take that risk. If she picks your calls, that is a good sign too. Nothing says ‘leave me alone’ more than a person who never picks your calls! If the guys’ feelings are for real, he will hang in there and to him it won’t even be any trouble waiting because to him you are in fact worth it! If he walks away then that’s fine because then you’ll know that it wasn’t meant to be. People who are meant to be always find each other.
