Children can develop their sporting skills at a young age. These are some of the different sports or games that children can enjoy while at home, school or in sport clubs. When children learn to develop skills in different sports and games, they have a lot to gain.
Cycling is a fun sport for kids too. It is one of those sports that need a lot of dedication and determination. Always wear protective gear like helmets, knee and arm caps.
Hockey is yet another good sport even though it is not yet common in Rwanda. Protective gear should be worn since there is a lot of falling involved.
Running: You can be a short distance runner making 100 meter races or a long distance runner making laps up to 20 when you are older of course.
Cricket: This sport involves batting a ball and running to make a points. Wearing protective gear like this boy is very important too.
Swimming is a sport that keeps kids busy. In your free time especially during the weekend, ask your parents to take you to the swimming pool.
Learn to play basketball. Dribbling the basketball, making hoops and dunking becomes easier the more you practice.
Don’t be afraid to dribble your ball.
Kids too can practice Karate. This makes you physically fit while you learn self defense skills.
