Once upon a time in a forest, there was a tree which was known for giving knowledge. In a nearby village lived a man called Kagure. He lived in a small cottage made of wood and he was very poor.
Kagure’s neighbour was very rich but he was very selfish. He never helped or gave anything to his poor neighbours. That rich neighbour did not like sharing.
Kagure and other village people worked very hard to become rich but there were no jobs that could make them rich. In order to eat food, they hunted animals in the forest and drank water from the river that flowed in the middle of the forest.
One day, Kagure was discouraged, so he decided to take a walk in the forest to think about his life. While walkin in the forest, he saw a very beautiful tree.
He walked towards it and when he reached near it, the tree spoke to him.
“What do you want?” asked the tree.
He was surprised to see a tree that spoke! But he responded and said, “I want to be rich.”
“Ok,” said the tree, “Go home and you will be surprised.”
Strange as it was, poor Kagure went back wondering what he would find at home.
When he got home Kagure was way richer than his mean neighbour. He was so happy and he invited his neighbours for a party. Unlike his rich neighbor, Kagure shared what he had with the people in the village and paid his workers well.
Later, his rich neighbor learnt to share and help other people like Kagure did. This village then developed and everyone was happy.
