The South African Ambassador to Rwanda, Ezra M Sigwela, on Wednesday handed over seven Friesians cows to ‘Gira Ibyiringiro’ association in Shyorongi Parish in Nyarugenge District. Gira ibyiringiro is an association of Genocide survivors, HIV/Aids patients and suspected Genocide perpetrators who were released. The donation aims at boosting household incomes and reducing malnutrition among the people of Shyorongi community. Sigwela said that the offer is a token of appreciation for the association’s morale of fostering unity and reconciliation.Ends
