When people want the best result, they hire expatriates. You may want to keep that in mind. No wonder many of you will move with unfashionable hair claiming you are so busy with office tasks to give it a good treatment. It’s sad to say but people still judge you (at least initially) by the way you look.
Hair accessories can make all the difference. If you do not have enough time to give appropriate care to your hair or have the latest style, then try an extension or braids that will take a little longer period of time , thus giving it a chance for your hair to grow.
‘Hair care is a chemical process that requires a professional touch to maintain, if treated well, it will look thick and health, and admirable’, Claudine Uwamwezi a saloon assistant in town said.
‘The combination of the pretty hairstyle and formal attire works on many levels. Some people prefer bold, bright chunky streaks. Others prefer natural-looking highlights or lowlights. And then, there are the daring few who choose to go from brown to brilliant hues of red or full blonde.
“Often my clients trust me to help them choose colours that work with their skin tone and with styles that really suit their faces’’ said Beatrice Umuhoza of Smart saloon in Kabeza.
Umuhoza added that some of their clients prefer using a permanent colour. Others would prefer shinny colour to be applied and processed together with a deep moisture replenishing treatment to condition, hydrate, moisten and shine the hair strands.
Lack of proteins or bad eating habits, crash diets or malnutrition as well as any kind of lack of protein, or iron can cause the hair to shed.
According to Coco Kamikazi, a hair specialist, one of the easiest ways to damage the hair is to comb it or treat it harshly, while it is wet.
While hair is wet it is in its fragile state. So after washing and conditioning the hair, in order to prevent split ends, gently comb out tangles with a wide tooth comb.
No matter what some hair product manufacturers may say or imply, it is impossible to repair split ends. You may however purchase products that will ‘seal’ the split ends, but trust me, this will only be a short term solution.
So, no matter what these hair care products promise they can do for you, they can not repair split ends. The only way to fix the problem is to cut the split ends off.
