Technology: Cordless laser mouse: Another excitement

Innovations in technology have always divulged excitements. The phones have shifted from landlines to mobile or from the button pressing keypads to a touch screen. Now the mouse has also come of age. The computer clicking gadget has come from wire connections to cordless. Just like that distinction, the latest mouse model does not need any wire connection but rather a laser.

It acts as a remote control.

A laser is an electromagnetic radiation or light release. The term is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

The device can be used on any computer but more preferably a laptop. It only requires it compatible Universal Serial Bus (USB) receiver for correspondence.

And above all, works well with all operating systems such as MS Windows Vista, MS windows XP, and Apple Mac. It has a good wireless range of response and good battery life for a pair of AAA sized cells.

Because of the use of laser, the mouse does not need a ball for moving the cursor. The light moves the cursor making it quickly responsive. The use of light also makes the mouse less affected by dust.

Despite the luxury and excitement of usage, the gadget’s receiver can easily be lost. Further more, it does not go cheap. All the best types cost about Rwf50, 000.
