Although it’s referred to as a coffee shop, Ndaru serves a variety of mouth-watering beverages and foodstuffs that will leave any diner satisfied with the promise of value added to the services offered.

Ndaru Coffee Shop is located along Boulevard de la Revolution Street, opposite Commercial Bank of Rwanda (BCR) headquarters shortly before Radio Rwanda.

Stepping at the main entrance, a glance inside throws one to an atmosphere of complete relaxation in an elegant place.

The tranquil and mirrored dining room with green vegetation inside plus the waterfall from the fountain, adds beauty to the restaurant.

The coffee shop has a unique look and welcoming ambiance that offers comfort, charm convenience to both local and international guests.

The patron is therefore the sole purpose of enjoying a magnificent banquet; nothing else matters, at least for that moment.

Menu

From Monday to Friday, they serve a complete buffet (with starters, main course, desserts) at Frw2000 per a single serving with a variety of drinks. Diners begin flocking the place at mid-day up to 3 p.m. when the buffet services end.

Besides the ordinary soup, special starters like Ndaru salad, chef salad, avocet vinaigrette, vegetable soup, chicken soup, fish cream soup and onion light soup are served.

Sandwich with jambons, cheese with sandwich, cheese with roasted goat meat, roasted beef, fish brochette, omelette nature, omelette with tomatoes, omelette jambons, and omelette special.

They also serve a quarter of roasted chicken and chicken with mushroom creamy sauce. Deep fried whole fish, pan fried tilapia fillet and Nile perch with creamy pepper sauce.

Dish of the day and tender veal with crumbs Holstein style, tender loin steak with green pepper sauce, Ndaru styled veal liver and Chopped veal Chinese style.

Rice, fried Irish potatoes, chips, boiled Irish potatoes, Irish lyonaises and chapatti.

Other edibles include: chapatti, samosa, brochette, chicken pie, croissant, gosette with cheese and chapatti special.

The restaurant has an “Eight assorted salad bar,” which is a buffet-like assortment of dishes from which customers make their choices according to taste.

This includes: fruit salad, fresh fruits plate, crepe au sauce, crepe au meal, green apples, pineapple, tomatoes, oranges, and yellow banana.

Ndaru coffee experts use their latest machinery to prepare various types of tea from which patrons make their choices.

The various types include: African tea, Rwandan filter coffee, café latte, cappuccino, espresso single and double and hot chocolate.

Soft drinks include: Mineral water, Fanta, jus de maracuja, tomato tree juice, pineapple juice, apple juice, mango juice, fresh milk and cocktail juice.

A mixture of the rich elite and mid-income earners working in places such as banks, embassies, non-government organisations as well as non Rwandans- tourists within the city all dine for their services.

Ndaru coffee shop as a superior provides its clients with the best. They are the coffee experts in the city and they feel proud of serving home-made tea and healthy food at reasonable prices.
