Massive turn-up for Kagame’s Muhanga rally

ABOUT 100,000 supporters, yesterday, converged at Muhanga stadium to welcome RPF candidate, Paul Kagame, as he campaigned in Muhanga District, in the Southern Province.

The massive crowd of RPF fans could not hold back their excitement as their flag bearer entered the stadium. Kagame danced with his supporters to RPF praise songs and when he spoke, he was met with deafening applause.

Kagame, revealed that he intends to multiply developmental efforts by seven times if he is elected in the August 9, presidential elections.

The candidate told Muhanga residents that they hold the key to the development of Rwanda. He, however, added that they would only realise their dreams if they made the right choice and voted for the RPF candidate.

Kagame pointed out that his party’s mission has always been to see all Rwandans play an important role in the decisions that affect them. 

He sent the crowd into deafening applause when he said that the RPF has a special package for Muhanga residents and that it will be unveiled after they vote for him.

The candidate praised residents of Muhanga, saying that they have always been characterized by dignity, patriotism and love for their country.

The RPF campaign manager, Fidel Ndayisaba, highlighted Kagame’s achievements including uniting Rwandans, building roads, and providing health insurance.

Muhanga residents praised Kagame for the tremendous progress the country has realised in the past, including free basic education, universal health insurance, improved welfare, and empowering women.
