During a press conference held on Thursday at the hospital headquarters, Nyirinkwaya thanked several banks operating in the country for their good services, especially easy access to loans that made his project succeed.

“Several banks have done a great job towards the success of this project; it was easy to access loans to finance the construction since 2005,” Nyirinkwaya a gynaecologist trained at Dakar University in Senegal, said.

He added that the hospital has started operations and he hopes that with time it will grow.

The 24 hour hospital will provide maternity, surgery, videography services, general medicine and dental services, among others.

According to Nyirinkwaya, the hospital employs 156 people in different departments among them doctors and nurses, administrators, laundry workers, kitchen team and many more.

He promised to serve with the spirit of professionalism and not like a typical business man..

“Although services are of the required standards, being a lifesaver, I must try to keep the costs affordable,” he said.
