MM Industries 20/20
Indorwa vs KCC
Guards vs Challengers
The inaugural MM Industries 20/20 tournament enters its fourth day with two games on card today at Kicukiro oval.
First in the fray will be Indorwa against Kigali Cricket Club, which game will be preceded by the clash between a resurgent Right Guards and Sulfo league champions Challengers.
KCC opened their campaign with defeat against Challenger last Sunday and will be desperate to put things right this time round against an out-of-sorts Indorwa side that earned a lucky point against Right Guards in their previous fixture.
The four-time Sulfo league champions have not won a trophy this year and the MM Industries 20/20 tournament is unquestionably their best shot.
Indorwa have four points after drawing their first two ties against Young Tigers and Guards and a win today would put them in a comfortable position.
In the other game, it’s going to be such a big test for both clubs as the Guards take on an inform Challengers side that ha splayed one and won one and are will be hoping to extent their unbeaten run.
Top of the table with six points, Guards seem to be enjoying their best form in over a year but that run is up for a stern test against a side that has already won two trophies this season; the Sulgo league and Utexrwa Cup.
“It’s a big test for both clubs but I think Guards have played well in their first two games. We had a good start as well and want to keep it,” Challengers’ Srinath Vardhineni said.
