Editor, Refer to the story, “Government to prioritise agric technology, premier says” (The New Times, August 12). This sounds great; I think the new prime minister should concentrate on developing agriculture to help overcome dependence on donors; that’s the only way we can succeed in our development plans. More investment is needed in the sector. We have a lot of marshlands to be developed all over the country; what we are missing is the financial resources and commitment. Ndabarasa, Rwanda
