WHAT better way for Rwandan women to celebrate international Women’s Day, than an evening of beautiful melodies by great musicians.

Get ready for the soothing, relaxing and romantic sounds of music on March 8, as one of the country’s talented musicians launches his debut album- Ndumiwe at Serena Hotel, Kigali. 

Billed to be one of the most entertaining live concerts of the month, music lovers will enjoy Bruce Melodie’s exquisite sound and signature style during this highly-anticipated album launch.

The 22-year-old musician, whose real name is Bruce Itahiwaco, has won hearts of his fans, especially women—thanks to his great tunes. His engaging stage presence incorporates mood and music to touch the hearts in a special way. 

With his unique voice, Bruce will captivate with hits that include Uzandabure, Telephone, Tubivemo, Sentiment, Ndumiwe, Inkovu, Nyerekana, Bahakanire and many more. 

With talented musicians such as Mani Martin and his Kesho band, Fireman, Mico The Best and Uncle Austin backing him up, you can be sure the launch shall be an array of entertainment. 

Also performing at the launch will be Ugandan songwriter and performer Jamal Wasswa, who will be backed up by his Soul band. 

After a successful breakthrough into the music industry, and with a collection of music under his name, Bruce Melodie is steadily making his mark on the music scene.

The Uzandabure star said that he is already counting down to the D-day and promised to give the best to his numerous fans, who don’t expect less from him.

“Every thing is in place for the Saturday concert. We finished the rehearsals and all the artistes have confirmed to perform. We got the venue and the tickets are already out,” said Bruce.

The singer who lost his mother last year, has dedicated the album to his deceased mother and to all women in the country. The 10-track album includes some of the singer’s old songs and new singles such as Hello and Incwi among others. The concert begins at 5p.m and entrance fee is Rwf5000 in the ordinary seats, Rwf10.000 VIP section and Rwf15.000 for the couples in the VIP wing. 

The after party will be held at the Kigali based Kalisimbi Hotel.
