Charity, Kigali Angels face-off in Zaafran & Blueberry Hotel T20

Charity Cricket Club play Kigali Angels in the first match of 2013 Zaafran & Blueberry Hotel T20 women’s tournament today  at Kicukiro cricket oval.

Charity goes into the match as favourites after finishing first runners-up in the UAE Exchange and Money Express T20 tournament, which was won by Queens of Victory.

“Our players are now more focused and we want to win this tournament,” said Charity CC captain Cathia Uwamahoro.

In the men’s category on Sunday, Impala Titans and Indorwa will face-off in the morning before Victory and Kigali cricket club take to the field in the afternoon.

Last weekend, Kigali Cricket Club (KCC) lost their first encounter against Kerala Hunters by 5 wickets. Charles Karasira one of the VCC star players said, “We need to keep our chances alive for qualification to the semi finals by beating KCC.”
