APR, NUR to contest V-ball league Playoffs final

Rivals, the National University of Rwanda and APR will contest the Playoffs final of the 2013 national volleyball league next weekend after they both registered impressive wins in their respective semi-finals clashes at the weekend.

Rivals, the National University of Rwanda and APR will contest the Playoffs final of the 2013 national volleyball league next weekend after they both registered impressive wins in their respective semi-finals clashes at the weekend.

Reigning champions APR beat Lycee de Nyanza (LDN) by three sets to nil and NUR saw off INATEK by a similar score line, both matches were played on Saturday at Amahoro indoor stadium, the venue for the Playoff finals for both genders.

The Rwanda Volleyball Federation shifted the Playoffs finals to next weekend. For the first Playoffs semi final APR beat Lycee de Nyanza 3-0 while National University of Rwanda hit INATEK 3-0, on Saturday.

The two rivals will faceoff on October 13 and the winner will be the 2013 volleyball national league title Champions. Going into the final, both teams are tied on 47 points.

In the women category, Rwanda Revenue Authority will come up against APR in the Playoff final after both registered identical 3-0 wins against Ruhango and St Alloys respectively in the semis.
