Rwandan singing sensation King James, on Wednesday afternoon left the country for Geneva, Switzerland, where he will perform.

The concert slated for Saturday is organised by Happy People, an events organising company, to mark the closing of the country’s business week.

This will be the first time the 23-year-old will perform in the European country. However, he has performed in Belgium, France, England and Holland, among other countries.

The Kigali-based singer has promised fans a chance to sample his latest music live; “I am delighted by this opportunity to reach out to my fans in Switzerland. I will give a performance they will remember in a long time.”

Amongst the tracks his fans should look out for are off his latest album, like Ndakwizera, Narashize, Abubu, yebabawe and Umuriro Watse.

King James, born James Ruhumuriza, rose to fame in 2009 with the hit track, Intinyi, and went on to win the Bralirwa-sponsored music competition, otherwise known as Primus Guma Guma Super Star.
