Rwanda will play their last game in Pool C against Serbia, who have qualified for the next round in the ongoing FIVB U-21 World Championships today in the Turkish city of Izmir.

While debutants, Rwanda, have lost all their three matches prior to today’s fixture, their opponents, Serbia, who won the 2011 World Youth Championships, have won all their games.

Rwanda’s head coach Paul Bitok said, “We are ready to fight again and try to surprise the 2011 world youth champions. We shall never give up despite losing the first three games.”

Bitok’s young troops have already lost with identical 3-0 score lines to USA, Tunisia and Canada, which makes today’s clash with the European heavyweight, Serbia an uphill task.

Rwanda captain Aimable Mututimana said, “We are improving our performance with each game we play at this championship.”
