Espoir have signed three players ahead of the start of the 2013/14 Primus national league season on September 21.

According to head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha, the Rusizi-based side landed playmaker Kassim Habyarimana and striker Jean Marie Safari Rukundo from La Jeunesse and midfielder Phocus Musabyimana from Amagaju.

The new players signed a one-year contract each.

“I hope they will be good additions to the team. The club has also extended contracts for several players and we plan to bring in a few more faces before the season starts,” Ruremesha told this paper on Friday.

The Western Province side has put aside Rwf60 million as their budget for the upcoming Primus National Football League season.

The coach added, “It’s important to strengthen our team in preparation for the new season.”

Ruremesha, who has previously coached Kibuye, Atraco, Mukura, Rayon Sports and La Jeunesse, said he wanted to sign at least two more players before September 21.

Espoir have already signed striker Andres Lomani from La Jeunesse and goalie Bate Shamilu from SC Kiyovu.
