SC Kiyovu has expressed interest in signing the AFC Leopards SC defending midfielder Floribert Tambwe Ndayisaba, Times Sport has learnt.

The former Rayon Sports player who has been training with the club at Mumena for the last one week, can sign any time after meeting with the head coach Yaoundé Kanyankore.

According to the club Secretary General Jean Marie Nsengiyumva, the player is training with the team but he has not yet signed any contract.

“We are waiting the approval of head coach, because he is the only one, who can assess the player he wants, and we hope if he needs him, we will sign him immediately,” said Nsengiyumva.

Ndayisaba could pen a two-year deal with Green Baggies after meeting with Kanyankore this week.

Ndayisaba, born 12 August 1989 in Bujumbura, began his career with Chanic FC and signed for Vital’O F.C in 2005 and after 4 years he joined FK Baku of Azerbaijan where he won their national championship.

In 2010, he returned to Burundi and signed for Fantastique Bujumbura FC. And a year later, he joined Rayon Sports before signing for AFC Leopards SC last season.
