Shyira Diocese, venue of the event, was packed with an expectant crowd of worshippers, believers and musical concert enthusiasts.

Locally acclaimed stars Liliane Kabaganza and Joseline Zaninka, also known as Maman Zoulu, performed a number of their songs, including, “Abiringiye Uwiteka Imana”, “Korera Imana,” and “Tuzanezerwa duseke”  among others.

“We are blessed to interact with nice mothers whose songs are inspiring, I like their songs, they  are  full of hope and I like how they renew my spiritual life,” said Epiphanie Mukamakuza, one of the attendees

Kabaganza said that their songs aim at creating hope among Christians and encouraging them to serve the Almighty God as they prepare for their place in the Kingdom of God.

The conference offered free admission to individuals and families. The concert was conceptualised to inspire married couples to live with each other in peace and harmony.

Host Chantal Mbanda of Mothers’ Union ministered during the concert.
