AMAVUBI international forward Jessy Reindorf has sealed a two-year deal with Bury FC, a League Two, (fourth tier side) in the English Football League.

Reindorf who has made three appearances for Amavubi moved to UK on a free transfer from Belgium’s Union Royale Namur which.

The 22-year old who has played for clubs in France, Italy and Belgium, is the 13th arrival at Gigg Lane this summer after impressing enough during pre-season.

According to club manager, Kevin Blackwell, Bury are waiting for an international clearance for Reindorf, who has been dubbed the “new Kevin Francis,”- a striker best known for his time with Stockport County and Birmingham City.

The 6”5 Rwandan international striker casts a similar gate to the former Stockport County legend referred to by Blackwell.

It now remains to be seen whether Reindorf will match him in the goal stakes after making his mark on Blackwell with an eye-catching performance in a behind-closed-doors match at Blackburn on Tuesday.

If Reindorf gets his international transfer certificate on time, he will feature for Bury during the club’s League Two game against Chesterfield on August 3.

The Rwandan international featured for Amavubi this year during friendly matches against Libya and Uganda as well as a 2014 World Cup qualifier against Mali in March. Reindorf becomes the second Rwandan to ply his trade in English football following Alfred Martins Mugabo who plays for Arsenal’s reserve team.
