THE national football league side Espoir football club is hosting Congolese side Bukavu Dawa in a friendly match due this afternoon in Rusizi.

Head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha wants to use the game to assess the competence level of his new players ahead of the start of next season.

Espoir FC finished tenth last season with 28 points after winning seven matches, drew seven and lost eleven respectively under coach Hamissi Sogonya Kishi.

The former Amavubi assistant coach Ruremesha confirmed the friendly match saying, “We are playing neighbours’ side Bukavu Dawa from DR Congo to examine the level of our players after two months without any competive action,”
