You have probably listened to songs such as “Can't Change We”, “Overprotective”, “Usiniache” and “Sina Makosa” by Kenya's Wyre, the Love Child.

You have also listened to “Spin Me”, “All or Nothing” and “No Ordinary Love” by Jamaican Reggae singer and songwriter, Alaine Laughton, known by her first name, Alaine.

The two artistes have a duet, aptly “Nakupenda Pia” that has received massive airplay on Kigali's top radio stations.

Now sources from Kampala have revealed that Wyre and Alaine will share a stage together, come August 23 to perform their hit single titled, “Nakupenda Pia” during the Pepsi-sponsored Konshens and Alaine concert at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

The “Nakupenda Pia” single has received rave reviews and is on constant rotation on many radio stations not only in Kigali, but also internationally.

"Yes we are in touch with Wyre and he is excited about the concert since it is in his neighbourhood," an official from Lollypop, the organisers, told The New Times.

The concert will also feature many local Ugandan artistes. Talks are also on going to have some of Rwanda's finest musicians sing alongside the 'Gal a bubble' star, according to our sources.

Lollypop and Solo Events have partnered with Pepsi to make the concert happen in Kampala. We hear, Crown Beverages Limited through its flagship brand Pepsi has pumped over Rwf50 million (Shs200 million) in the show.
