Gen. Nyamvumba urges stern action against sexual abuse

Governments and other actors must mobilise all the necessary resources to decisively end violence against women and girls in conflict and post-conflict situations, the Chief of Defence Forces has said.
The Inspector General of Police, Emmanuel Gasana (R) welcomes the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Patrick Nyamvumba, to the u2018Africa UNITEu2019, forum yesterday. Africa UNITE, a campaign to end violence against women and girls, attracted delegates from 38 African countries. Gen. Nyamvumba  urged governments and other actors to mobilise all the necessary resources to decisively end violence against women and girls in conflict and post-conflict situations.
