Every time I read what the Parliament and regulatory bodies are doing in Rwanda, I just wonder if this Parliament really knows what it is doing. Instead of discussing priority issues, they seem to dwell on trifle issues such as the one we are discussing now.
What about discussing the state of our hospitals and the lack of doctors with specialized skills in the country, water and sanitation? What about discussing how to improve education in the country, etc?
We want to see an active parliament which has the power to promulgate laws and debate serious issues instead of wasting time on trivial issues.

MPs shouldn’t waste time on trivial issues
